Hello Friends of Monroe!! My name is Lyndsey McCall and I’m the new Director of Camps and Retreats at Monroe! I’m so excited to be back in Coastal Carolina. I grew up in Harnett County and attended Cape Fear Presbyterian Church when I was in High School. I served on the Presbytery of Coastal Carolina Youth Council (PYC) for over 12 years and had great faith experiences through retreat ministry. After High School I went to St. Andrews Presbyterian College, when I also became a member at Laurinburg Presbyterian Church, and then graduated in 2007. In 2007 & 2008 I had the AWESOME job of being a Program Director. The faith experiences and skills I learned, I believe, helped me to be the person I am today.
Since Program Directing, I went on to receive my Master’s Degree in 2011 at Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, VA. After I’ve had the opportunity to serve as; Presbytery of the James’s Youth Ministry Coordinator, as an After School Director and worked for two churches with one being a solo pastorate intern position for a small church.
But, it’s great to be home!
And, I’m so happy to be the Director of such a wonderful ministry! I hope you’ll continue to support this great ministry. I believe together, we will be able to build-up the Kingdom of God!
