PACKING LIST FOR SUMMER CAMP
Bedding/Linens
- Twin bedding (sleeping bag or sheets and a blanket)
- Pillow
- Bath towel & wash cloth
- Beach towel
Clothing
We recommend 8 outfits (that they can get dirty!) for the week; 4 outfits for Mini Camp
- Shirts, shorts, and underwear: We recommend 8 outfits (that can get dirty!) for the week
- no spaghetti straps, tank tops
- Pajamas
- Closed-toe shoes (tennis shoes) and socks
- Shoes or sandals with backs that can get wet
- Flip flops (for shower use only)
- Swimsuit
- Female campers are required to wear modest one-piece swimsuits or a tankini that covers the stomach. If a bikini is brought, the camper will be asked to wear a shirt to cover the stomach.
- Camper swimsuits cannot have metal or plastic zippers, grommets, or metal of any kind since these damage the material on the water toys.
- Rain jacket or poncho

What NOT to bring
(Prohibited items will be confiscated and returned to parents at pick-up at the end of the week)
- Clothes that would not pass school guidelines for length/coverage. We want kids to have appropriate clothing that allows them to be active at camp without an unintended exposure.
- Clothes with inappropriate language or pictures, including depictions of firearms, alcohol, drugs, or tobacco advertising.
- Phone, iPad, laptop, game system, and other electronics
- Fireworks
- Firearms or any weapons, including knives
- Jewelry and other valuables
- Camp Monroe is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Cabins and bath houses are checked after camper move out and all lost and found is collected.
- Snacks (food in the cabins attracts wildlife)
- Tobacco or vape products, alcohol, illegal drugs
- Matches, lighters, aerosol cans
